1) First up. SPELL AND PUNCTUATE CORRECTLY. I am NOT kidding here.
2) Don't over-react. One or two exclamation marks is ENOUGH. One emoticon in a post is ENOUGH. (e.g. " ;D ;D ;D " - Yeah. You're happy. We got it the first time, thanks.)
" " is usually unnecessary. People will be able to tell you're angry by what you're saying.
3. Stay on-topic in more serious discussions. Don't hijack a topic about fish and turn it into a topic about bicycles. (A topic about cats or dogs or other pet animals, maybe, because there's some relevance to fish there.)
4. Don't bump old posts unless there is some need for it and DON'T bump old posts simply to increase your post count. Your post count is a small collection of numbers at the left of your post and nobody in the universe but you cares about it.
"Old" will henceforth be defined as anything not on Page One, unless it's a) less than a week old, b)your private hoaxing topic OR c) it's one of those "getting-to-know-you" type threads (what's your favorite game, etc., in which case a page two bump is acceptable)
5. Do your own work. Don't take something from someone without their permission and call it yours. If you do want something from someone, ASK. THEIR. PERMISSION. AND. CREDIT. THEM. FOR. IT. You will be instantly banned if this one is broken.
6. Don't over-post. Like I said earlier, nobody cares how many posts you've made. Don't post a bunch of topics in a row. Every random thought that enters your brain does not need to wind up on a message board.
7. Most importantly, THE INTERNET DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOU. Let's run that one again. The Internet. Does Not. Revolve. Around You. If a topic slightly changes from what you were talking about, you may not scream "HEY YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE TALKING ABOUT ME!" in a self-pitying whine. No, no we're not.
8. Your age is no excuse for not following any of the above. There are others your age here who can follow these rules, so you can do it too.
9. Myself and Jack O'Lantern II are the mods. You are not. If you feel a topic should be locked, then PM one of us instead of adding another pointless post to the topic. If you think one of us isn't doing right by you, discuss it with that person via PM or email. If that fails, tell the other one of us.
10. Let's keep it PG-13, people. MA 15+ at maximum. This means no pornography, alright? Also nothing violence-related that would rate over MA-15.
11. Please, for the love of God, DO NOT SPAM!! Spamming is, first of all annoying, and second of all just down-right stupid.
PUNISHMENTS:
